Brahm creates new brand identity for Asco Educational

Brahm has created a new brand identity for Asco Educational Supplies Ltd, the early years educational resource supplier, with the strapline, ‘big ideas for little people’.

Central to the new identity is the Asco Village, a collection of little helpers which bring to life the brands values of engagement, interactivity and energy and introduce the concept that ‘it takes a village to raise a child’.

These little helpers are used as a brand element throughout the 2009 catalogue to introduce special offers and important delivery details with the broad brush stroke effect used as a secondary brand element to frame a page or image and reinforce the brand style. Additional characters in the suite are used throughout the catalogue in section headers, graphics packs and other sales materials in addition to featuring on company stationery, advertisements, direct mail and e-promotions material.

Brahm has been working with Asco since 1998 producing a number of resource catalogues. Tom Marshall, Asco Managing Director, attributes Brahm’s work as an important factor in the success of his business.

Says Tom: “We were looking for a new look which anchored our position as an innovative early years supplier with a high quality range and wanted a new catalogue design which placed us at the quality end of the market and made better use of catalogue page space. The new look and catalogue have achieved both criteria well and has given our sales team a catalogue and image they can be proud of. Working with Brahm has been an important factor in quadrupling our turnover over the last ten years”.

Anne Hadfield, Managing Partner at Brahm commented: “We have enjoyed working with Tom and his team over the last ten years and are thrilled with Asco’s new brand identity. Asco has developed a great reputation for high quality service and products and we hope the new brand and catalogue ensure Asco continue to stay one step ahead of their competition”.
