Brahm appointed by the Learning and Skills Council

Brahm has been appointed by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to execute its national Apprenticeships marketing campaign in Yorkshire and the Humber.

The campaign aims to inform and educate employers across Yorkshire and the Humber about the benefits of employing apprentices.

The team at Brahm will also engage with a number of key business organisations in the region to promote the diverse range of Apprenticeships available, from the catering industry to engineering, business administration to sports, leisure and the creative industries.

The regional activity supports the national campaign led by self-made business leader and star of The Apprentice, Sir Alan Sugar. A new nationwide TV advert sees Sir Alan talking to apprentices and witnessing the difference they are making in today’s business world because apprentices ‘Make Things Happen’.

Tim Downs, Head of Brahm PR, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to support a national Apprenticeship campaign which is being led by Sir Alan Sugar and receiving widespread Government backing. As an agency, we understand the importance of investing in and supporting good people and hope that by communicating the excellent resource, advice and skills that LSC can offer to apprentices and employers, we can improve the perception of Apprenticeships.”

Mohammed Naeem, Regional Marketing Manager at the Learning and Skills Council, commented: “This campaign aims to show employers and individuals how vital Apprenticeships are to developing skills for success at work and in business, and particularly in the current recession. Employing an apprentice or undertaking an Apprenticeship is an investment in the future and research has shown that companies that do not train their workforce are 2.5 times more likely to fail than those that do – with Brahm’s help we want to get this compelling message across.”
