Jacqueline Callghan

This new body of photographic work by Jacqueline Callaghan explores ideas surrounding fashion and identity. Constructed characters and environments create a subtext to Callaghan's aesthetic defined by the bold application of light and shade and use of strong compositional features.

It is novel to see an exhibition which celebrates fashion photography as a body of individual images in their own right; the audience is offered the opportunity to appreciate and engage with this compelling genre out of its usual disposable context.
