Felt Through Thought

A Series of New Drawings By Amy Todman
January 10 - February 3 2006

Amy Todman was recently jointly awarded with the Dundee Visual Artists Award and Felt Through Thought is her first series of work since being honoured.

Todman's intricate and multilayered drawing methods are not dissimilar from her multifarious thought processes: she describes her technique as 'a reflection of my perceived complexity of the doings of my mind', contrasting textures and materials to create drawings of which some are 'more reflections of emotions and others are more reflections of thoughts'; though both, she insists, are present in every drawing to different degrees.
