Client Challenge:

The new generation of Mallard trains has been refurbished and rebranded with the business traveller in mind. GNER saw the relaunch as a fantastic opportunity to promote business travel and, in particular, to communicate with one of its key audiences – travel and booking agents.

Our Solution:

The Mallard mailing, containing a ‘Union Jack’ duck, personalised letter and promotional literature, was sent to 850 travel agents nationwide. Cutting through conventional business mail, it built instant awareness of the new Mallard service and put GNER on track to hit business passenger targets.
